京都市動物園の新しい動物福祉の取り組み Kyoto City Zoo’s New Animal Welfare Initiatives
京都市動物園は、令和2年1月31日にライオンのナイルが亡くなって以来、ライオンの飼育を行わないことに決めました。また、動物との直接のふれあいを避ける形で、小動物について学ぶ機会も提供しています。
Kyoto City Zoo decided not to keep lions after the passing of a lion named Nile on January 31, 2020. Additionally, they now offer opportunities to learn about animals, including small animals, without direct contact.
